Tour Itinerary

Begin the adventure

We will receive you with warm greetings at the IXB airport or the NJP railway station. With our easy transfers via cabs and taxis, we will get you to Gangtok where you will be staying at a three- star hotel. Check-in and enjoy the day as you wish, at your leisure. Take your rest and re-energize yourself. Return to the hotel and have a good night's sleep.

Exciting things happen here!

Today, after you are done with a filling and satisfactory breakfast, our plan is to roam the roads towards Tsomgo Lake, situated at 12,400 ft and Baba Mandir, located higher at 13,200 ft. At this highest point, a shrine has been dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh who was a martyr of war. He had died at the pass Nathula Pass, and in his reverence, a small temple was built in his name that attracts visitors time and again.

And after an eventful day of a fruitful journey, we check-in to the hotel for an overnight stay.

In the lap of drowsy silence and repose of learning

On the third day of our journey, we shall be visiting the following places in over 6 hours: Tashi View Point - Highest local point for watching the mountains sunbathe. Adorned with countless cafes.

Ganesh Tok - Temple of Lord Ganesha on a hilltop. Neighboring the souvenirs stops, this is a place of attraction and auspiciousness.

Flower Show - A wide display of flowers and a sale of seeds of your desired plants.

A day’s rest with an experimental visit

Nothing matches the satisfaction of waking up to a good rest after an exhausting day. Today, we will finish our breakfast at the hotel and set out towards Pelling/Darap. It is farther from Gangtok by 131-135 km, based on the route we take. And as we travel our way to the place, en route, we shall also be visiting the Ravengla. The Buddhist park too comes in our route. We shall be halting at the same to wonder in awe at the tall statue of Buddha radiating serenity. This place is home to the famous Ralang monastery, the sacred site to all Buddhists.

And before long, we’ll be dozing at hotel Sonamchen for an exciting day ahead!

It's mostly all water today.

We have reached Pelling the night before. It is time we explore the cuisines of the new place. We will be starting the day with a sumptuous breakfast. The tour will begin early for we also need to reach Darjeeling before soon. You would be visiting the following destinations: Darap village: A even piece of land that submits to a blissful variety of beauty in simplicity. Undiscovered village tourism.

Khangchendzongha Waterfalls: 25 km away from Pelling, these falls are the most wonderful tourist attraction in Pelling. An action-packed adventure for risky enthusiasts by crossing the stream using a rope harnessed from above.

And before the darkness begins to rise, we are off to Darjeeling.

Adventure’s just beginning now. Wait and watch.

You must have realized by now that we are no longer in Sikkim. We are in West Bengal at a tremendously exquisite UNESCO Heritage site, Darjeeling. After the night's rest and a good morning's breakfast at the Yuma hotel, our day begins. Today we are going to tour seven places!

We will then visit the Tibetan Refugee Help Centre and glance at the exterior of the tea gardens. Finally adjourning the journey, we take a last look at the Japanese Buddhist Temple which embodies peace and spirituality. And we are off to bed peacefully.

Probably not a goodbye, but a see you soon.

Travel to Darjeeling for yourself if you want to know the place by heart. Our final hotspot is the Tiger Hill at the summit of Ghoom. It situates the highest built railway station ever! Unlike the rest of the days, today we shall be leaving at 4 am in the morning to Tiger Hill. The Tiger Hill offers a spectacular view of the sunkissed crowns of Kanchenjunga and Everest. The sight is worth a million years of wait.

We resume our journey back to where we began, exchanging stories. At Dewachen retreat, we will have our final meeting as explorers, toasting to the success of the journey. And then we will go our ways, with our hearts full, via NPJ railways or IXB airport to our own homes.
