Overview
Shillong remained capital of olden times Assam state which later got divided into Meghalaya. The joint capital of past is now capital city of Meghalaya State. The word Megh means clouds and this city atop the hill is close to the clouds offering a magnificent view second to none. “Scotland of the East” as per the rulers of British Raj; the Plateau is home to mild lovely environment which is fairly cool. The cool climate is pleasant in summer and winter season is warm but dry.

Enjoy your drive to Shillong
Our representative will welcome you and then proceed towards Shillong. On the way, you can enjoy boat ride in Umiam Lake (at your own cost). From there, you will directly head to Shillong. On arrival, you will check into the hotel for overnight stay.
Visit the tourist attractions on second day of the tour
In the morning, you will have a nice breakfast and head towards Naukalikai Falls (the tallest plunge waterfall in India). From there, visit to Seven Sister Falls ( a seven segmented waterfall) and Ram Krishna Mission ( a Hindu religious and spiritual organization). Later, you will visit one of the longest caves in India, Mawsmai caves. In the evening, return back to Shillong hotel for overnight stay.
Back to home from short tour of Shillong
After breakfast, our staff will drive you to Guwahati in the morning. You will visit one of the popular temples, Kamakhya Temple, on the way to Guwahati. Proceed to destination home with unforgettable fun memories.
